Weaving a Why
My little 100-word piece, or drabble, found a home in the Spring 2026 issue of Sheepshead Review. I love this little UW-Green Bay lit mag because they send me a copy of the issue (sometimes two!). They also hold an online launch party that’s always a blast as you get to hear other contributors to the issue read their work aloud. Check out the Spring Issue here.
Office Work is Never Done!

As you all (probably) know, I bought an adorable vintage camper trailer last winter and my Sweet Love, Jeff, and I have been working to get it turned into my office. Jeff spent considerable time and skill removing cabinets and the kitchen, capping plumbing and electric, and covering leaking skylights. Then he gave me the all-clear to get in there and remove the carpet and pad, which at 60 years old and used as a full-time home for someone for sometime, was *vomit* I’ve been sanding the plywood that was underneath to get the carpet pad glue and moldy bits removed so Kilz will have something to stick to, and in doing so discovered that even more cabinets had to come out *sigh* It’s fun though and exciting, and I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to move in by mid-to-late-June!
