Thank you for permission to have a DNF pile!! Since I struggled for years with inability to finish what I started I became very hard on myself about not finishing books. In spite of my philosophy that “There is nothing worse than a job well done that should never have been done in the first place” I am tyrannical about finishing books.

SO many good books in this world…if you’re not getting anything out of it, if it’s not gonna be a four or a five star book when you’re done…just STAHP! I give the world full permission. You will never finish all the books you want to read in your lifetime. Even if you’re born today. It’s impossible. Free yourself from the tyranny of books that just aren’t lighting you on 🔥
